Hey Readers!
Happy autumn! I love this time of year, don’t you? The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and smells of wood smoke, and pumpkin spice is calling my name!
My daughter, husband and I did a historic cemetery tour on our own last weekend, and it was beautiful as well as enlightening. There’s nothing like a walk through a cemetery to get your creative juices flowing. All those names and lives lived. It was great exercise as well, though my knees did not appreciate the uneven ground.

I’m getting ready for our trip to Calgary for the Bouchercon World Mystery Convention, and getting excited to meet my editor in person, some of my favorite mystery authors, and hopefully some new readers. I just found out that I’ll be giving a 20-minute talk about the Gabrielle Dorian Mystery Series and giving away some swag on Friday morning! Exciting! I’ll be posting on social media, so I hope you’ll follow along.
I just sent off my final revisions to my editor, which means it’s time to think about starting my Advance Reader Club again. Let me know if you are still interested in reading and reviewing Dreams and Deceptions before it’s released, and I’ll make sure you get a copy (contact@rebeccaolmstead.com). It’s a lot of work, though, so if I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you’re no longer interested. No harm, no foul. I’m just excited about being so close to finally releasing book 2.

Until then, it’s back to planning for the big trip. Happy Reading!
Rebecca
