SWAK Mockup

Happy February!

I hope you are all enjoying the month of love.

I’m still recovering from a year of surgeries, and yet this year has been full of activity and good news. Most of this is because of actions I took before all the surgeries (and some in between). I look at this like planting seeds. You put some seeds in the ground and go on with your life, usually forgetting all about those seeds. Then one day you look out and see some green pushing up through the dirt! For me, it’s usually when I’m being hard on myself because I’m still recovering and can’t do anything, and even writing feels like a daunting task.

Here are some pops of green I’ve seen lately:

23 readers downloaded free copies of Promise of the Day Devotional for Victorious Living in my last promotion! That’s 23 more people equipped to overcome their circumstances!

My local bookstore sold out of Loved So Much It Hurts and my devotional Companion Journals! When I asked the manager about restocking them, he also ordered copies of Dreams and Illusions and Malice, Matrimony & Murder!

When I took the books into the store, I also got on their Book Signing Schedule for April 6, 2024! Mark your calendars. ☺️

My short story, “A Deadly Conundrum” was accepted for publication in the New York chapter of Sisters in Crime (SinC) yearly anthology!

Loved So Much It Hurts made it onto the short list for the Journey Award!

Dreams and Illusions made it onto the shortlist for the Mystery & Mayhem Award! I also received some fantastic reviews from readers, which always makes my day.

So, I encourage you, whatever you do, don’t forget to plant your seeds. When times get rough and you’re feeling useless, those little pops of green coming up will be a reminder that you are still making your mark on the world!

My Valentine Special is running now, featuring Loved So Much It Hurts for only .99 cents until February 18th. I’ve also been working on new Valentine products for my Etsy shop, WGWInspirations. I created this shop to support my ministry, Watch God Work Ministries, and all proceeds go to support it. But I really need your help getting the word out. Please visit, favorite, and share my shop with friends, family, and on social media. I’m running a 25% off sale through Valentine’s Day, and sales really help with the costs of running the ministry. Thank You! Keep planting those seeds! Rebecca
