Merry Christmas, Readers!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got your fill of turkey. Ours was sooo relaxing—delicious food, great company, a crackling fire, a puzzle, and Christmas movies … and lots of leftovers.
I have so much to be thankful for, not the least of which is you, my readers. You keep me at the keyboard. Another blessing I got this year was getting to meet my brother, Larry, and his wife, Nicki, for the first time! We found each other on an ancestory site several years ago, and it’s been a blast getting to know them.

Writing News:
My Black Friday sale brought in enough sales to push Dreams and Illusions to #3 on the Amazon bestseller list for one of my categories. I sure hope the sales also bring in more reviews.
Dreams and Deceptions is going through major rewrites. I’m eliminating one of my favorite characters (not one you already know) and bringing in a new one … or two. This has been a lot of work, but, hopefully, it will make me a better writer.
Since revisions on Dreams and Deceptions are taking so long, and you’ve been so patient …well, some of you … I’ve decided to give you an early Christmas gift. A sneak peek of what’s to come. Just follow the link below to read the first chapter! If I get enough response, I may even reinstitute my Advance Readers Club! Let me know your thoughts on Chapter 1 at contact@rebeccaolmstead.com.

Bunny News:
Unfortunately, our bunnies didn’t multiply as expected, and we didn’t get to any more shows this year, due to an unexpected surgery for my hubby and our daughter’s business taking off. But there’s always next year, and things should have settled down by then … I hope.
Quilting and Crocheting News:
I did get some charity quilting done, but like most things, these activities have also taken a back seat to life and revisions. I’m looking forward to getting back to the sewing machine and crochet hook.

Until next time, have a blessed Christmas and a Fabulous New Year!
